    injured East Rock Run 4 mi 50:00

    Had to walk all the down hill portions because my hamstrings and gluts are killing me. They didn't hurt on uphill portions but I literally couldn't run downhill b/c of pain. Anyone experience this?

      Hey Lis, sorry to hear. Knowing you, I assume you're plenty stretched. Any new workouts the past few days that would account for it? I definitely have suffered from downhill-caused shin splints, but not hams or glutes. Feel better!

      Thanks Jose! I did do a swim speed workout the day before. They feel better now:)

    great Pool speed workout 1 mi 35:00

    Felt great to get in the pool. Started with quick warm up, moved
    onto speed workout and did a brief cool down. Love the water!

    great Bridgeport water loop 4 mi 40:00

    Again started slow but was able to pick up the pace and finish strong.
    Beautiful day, water was gorgeous. Wind off the water feels great.
