Dear Asics: So I finally decide that, yes, I do prefer your shoes to the Nike Structures that have dominated my running for the past 6 years and I go to buy a pair to finish up training for the MCM. What do I find when I get to Pacers? I find THIS!!! What's wrong with making normal colored shoes. These are hideous, if you ask me. UGH!

They don't match anything I have ... and they are too flashy for me. Did I mention I HATE purple. My little 3 year old nice would love them since purple is her favorite color.

Hmmm. That's a problem I suppose. My Mizunos are fluorescent yellow. In size 11, I feel like I am wearing banana boats. Just don't look down. ;-)

Laura they called all the other Pacers stores and they didn't have any of the older model. These are the "hot new Asics GT 2000". Kelsie, I'm a good 20 years older than you maybe that's my problem :-)

Loud colors get you noticed when running on the streets. I consider it a safety issue when you look drab.

My sister-in-law told me my little 3 year old niece Naomi got purple shoes today too (her favorite color) so I guess as long as they feel okay I'll stick with them :-)

I like them....:) I have run in Asics the past 5 years, and it's funny because I complain about the lack of fun colors!

They don't hold up. I put less than 300 miles on them and the insides fell apart. I expect to get 600 miles.
