good 4 to Start the Week 4 mi 00:33 08:08 pace

4 TM miles to get the week started. Really difficult week last week- didn't feel like running after Tuesday.. I had to make a very hard decision. Last Thursday, my little doggie, C.J., almost 14 years old, had to be put to sleep. Her health had steadily been declining and I was up almost every night between 2 and 5am giving her medicine for her coughing. While it was an extremely difficult time for me and my family, it is a blessing that she is no longer suffering.

So sorry to hear about your doggie. Tough decision but you did the right thing, you don't want them to suffer.

Way to get this new wk started right Lisa, after the tough one last wk. Our furry kids mean so much to us. Sorry to hear about your C.J., but I'm confident she lived a full, happy life w/you as her "parent" :)

So sorry to hear about the loss of C.J.- so heartbreaking :( Remember, all dogs go to heaven! I am glad you had the wisdom to let her go and ease her pain. Not an easy thing to do.....

Hugs to you for C.J.)))))) Losing a pet I did experience about 4 yrs. ago. It hurts because you love them so much and a part of the family, not just a pet.
