Well that didnt go as planned! I didnt check the forecast before I went so I had no idea what to expect. Met up with one of my employees for a 5K as she wants to start running them with me and wanted to see how it feels! She did as well as could be expected in this heat and humidity! I was supposed to carry on and try for a total of 13 miles just to have another long run under my belt before next weekend...but it was just so humid and warm out (about 80 degrees & 100% humidity by 7:30am) that I started to getting dizzy and and a horrible headache by mile 5 so I just stopped!
I am very happy to have 5 miles today and almost relieved that I will be able to run shorter distances this week (no more long runs before the half on Saturday!) without feeling guilty that I should be doing more!
