I was impressed with myself for my first half marathon. Before this, the longest I had run was 6 miles. Of course I did 1:1 intervals up until mile 9 then my legs/knees just wouldn't let me run. I ended up walking most of the last 4 miles with the occasional jog. I knew I would be bringing up the rear, but my goal was to finish and that's what I did. My official time for the race was 3:25:25, however, I paused my Garmin for the bathroom break. So my time is closer to what I actually did. I'm hoping to improve my time before the next one in October. I have several smaller races planned, so I will have lots of training between now and then. Congrats to all my friends that finished as well!!!

Nice work! My legs gave out too, but I just had to finish. Now it's time to rest for a week ;)

Exactly! I'm nervous about how I will feel after being immobile over night...hopefully my knees won't freeze up!
