I've been walking virtually pain free for several days now, so I decided it was time to get out and try running on this ankle again. The good news is that it never gave out on me. I felt a few twinges here and there, but nothing concerning. The bad news is that a week off will really take a toll on one's endurance. So now I will have to work on rebuilding some speed and distance. But I anticipate that won't take too much time. For today, I told Sarah G. to set the pace, and between you and I, I could barely keep up with her. I'll let her bask in the glory, for now... :)

Glad you're back out on it! I agree your pace will pick up in no time. Each run will build your confidence back that the ankle will hold up. I"m sure your endurance has more to do with your mind being a little worried about each step.
