good Otterbourne loop 6.1 mi 00:40 9.2mph pace

Training my friend up to ride with me. Easy miles for me made me realise I'm well in the way to cycling to work again. WOOHOO!!!!

Training your friends up is the way to go. I've got Liam riding into work now, mind you he refused to ride with me after he first week or so

great Toot Hill Loop 9.6 mi 00:45 12.8mph pace

I realised today that some fitness is in the body, and some is in the mind. My mind ist fit. The body will catch up soon.

    good 7.1 mi 00:31 13.7mph pace

Getting back in my stride :-)

  5. swim
    875 m 00:25 45:58 pace

I realised today that "I am fit" is a myth. I am NOT fit. I will be though, just you watch me.

great Local pootle 11.5 mi 00:46 15.1mph pace

So good to be out on the bike. Back feeling very strong. CV fitness shocking but I'm on the way up. Forest miles anyone?

  7. VELO
    10 mi 01:00 10.0mph pace

Hard work but good to be out on the bike

  8. VELO
great To West End 10.4 mi 00:44 14.2mph pace

Not thinking of selling the Lemond after all. Especially as my computer has thrown a wobbler and said my top speed was 52.5mph. It felt good but not that good!

  9. walk
great Forest ramble 7.22 mi 02:30 20:46 pace

Lovely walk, delightful company. This is what I love to do. Walk, natter, enjoy the view, pub lunch and coffee back at mine. Perfection

  10. swim
    350 m 00:15:00 68:58 pace

Lost my goggles. Cannot swim properly without them but the 15 mins were enough to clear the remaions of today's migraine.

  11. walk
good Kings Worthy and Easton 4 mi

Lovely ramble with a friend and the pooch. I want to live in Easton, in the Old School House please. Any millionaires in need of a live-in lover out there?

great Town and around the place 7.5 mi 00:41 11.0mph pace

Loving using the bike to go places again, rather than the default car option which I have needed for so bloody long post surgery. Been nearly a year, and quite frankly the longest year of my life...

  13. walk
    great Dogging 2.95 mi 00:52 17:37 pace

My oh my it's good to be alive! Back is feeling strong, head even stronger, the sun is out, the birds are singing and I'm not at work :-D

    alright Errands 3.8 mi 00:22 10.4mph pace

My sit bones are mighty glad I didn't plan a longer ride today.

  16. VELO
great Cotswold pootle 12.15 mi 00:01:00 729.0mph pace

I've no idea how far or how fast I rode. I was on a borrowed bike in borrowed clothes and the set up was all wrong. Rode up the biggest hill I've ridden since riding up Burrington Coombe ... read more

Nice, I've never been to the Cotswolds but imagine there are one or two hills about. Keep it going and you'll be round the IoW in no time :-)

good New Forest pootle 21.96 mi 01:26 15.3mph pace

Pretty. Sore back prevented me adding to my twenty post-surgery miles. Have 6 weeks to get up to 70 miles in a day. I reckon that's realistic, given that I mostly manage what I put my mind to.

    • Richard B.

Just watch your back, that's quite a step up in 6 weeks. Lecture over, the Forest must have been beautiful on such a lovely day, and nice pace by the way :-)

good Forest walk 2.69 mi 00:44 16:21 pace

Strode out with a good pace today, and given that I have done no other exercise worthy of note, this can count!

    great Commute 22.6 mi 01:31 14.9mph pace

Awesome. First commute in almost exactly a year. Day off so did it one hit, in my fastest time ever. Has given me a high I think it'd be hard to beat
