I just started a mile a day challenge. This will be weird because I always schedule rest days during the week. I will commit those rest days to walking for the month of January. My dogs will love it!

I'm trying to set a mileage goal for 2013. The most I've ever run in a year is 413 miles. Should I aim for 500 miles in 2013? I'm thinking YES! :0)

That's inspiring, Lindsey! Thanks for sharing, that was just what I needed to hear!! :D I'm doing this for the peace of mind / mental clarity I get from it (I focus so much on running that other thoughts / stresses can't seep in) and to get in better shape.
