  2. VELO
good quick ride to skokie 11.5 mi 00:47 14.7mph pace

Figured since I had a big ride coming up that I should check to make sure the bike is fine, lube it up, and remember what a bike seat felt like.

Tough day. Headed out with a batch of 11:30 blues. Many of them were good champs, but the group was very spread out. I didn't even try to hold people to pace, nor did I hang with the same g... read more

Well, I feel I helped in moments, but (as you know from pacing 11:30s) it's hard to know how to feel the most useful. We were all good champs today.

tired CES metric century or so, Bar... 61.63 mi 04:19 14.3mph pace

Today, I was the slowest CES rider of the bunch.

    Learned that:
    1) Maybe blood donations aren't the best idea two days before a long ride.
    2) There are more hills than you think in Barrington ... read more

Barrington hills are hard work. At apple cider, you'll also have the advantage of no recent blood donation. Good job getting it done!
