      Last year was 1h:25m. This year, 1h:12m. What hurt me last year was being placed in the 'S' group. I spent the first half of the race zig-zagging between the walkers so that by the time I hit 'cardiac hill' I was spent! I am also going to carry my own water bottle this year as well. The water handed out at the water break stations tasted kind of funny and was a bit too warm for my liking. I wrote off last year's PTRR as more of a learning experience, this year I am going in to it much smarter.

      That works! I'm in group B this year - someone ran my number last year so I'm debating whether to start at the front or hand back to run with someone else. Scott didn't get in although we both tried the lottery. I'm hoping to run most if not all of it (hills included) - not sure I have any expectations as far as pace, but have been trying to keep my 10K at a 11:05 so we'll see!!
