    Trying the whole 'keeping the hear rate in check' thing. Averaged 170-175 bpm, with a max of 185. Definitely tough at first, but was able to speed up in the second half.

    how cow it's hot! gib and i did a loop of mercer slough park, then ran 3 mi to luther burbank park where he swan in lake washington for 1/2 hour. then we ran home.
