what a geat day of skiing! It started out a bit chilly but then the sun came out and it was so nice out there! We skiied park side with Rick & James, Reagan was keeping up. right there with us.... heck who am I kidding she was passing me. I think I may be in trouble soon. We ended the day by doing "parent bumps" on upper arrowhead, she did great I was pretty impressed. I told Reagan we will have to learn how to do bumps together. This may be our best mileage in a long time 18.5 total skiing miles, 32 miles with the lift rides.

it was a fun day... the conditions here have been so grim, it is nice to finally get out and ski. It's always amazing to see out of 5 hours and 30 + miles at the slopes the actual skiing is essentially half the time. I just looked back since I started recording this is our most mileage yet

LOL.... Reagan wanted to go on "whoopdy whoops" AKA Dilly Dally Alley but we were on Jane side at that point so Britt took us down the top of sleeper, Super Guage Trail through the tree cut off to Upper Arrowhead loop... so a portion was on the black gnarly trail under super guage... she looks at Britt and says "DAD these are not KID bumps these are PARENT bumps". We started cracking up. Upper Arrowhead were actually pretty nice smaller bumps, that I could handle, she did great!

We typically can get some longer mileage by skiing from MJ to WP, it's about 2 miles and then most runs from top of Jane to the base are about 2 miles, it adds up. WP trails are pretty short in comparison... the 3 tiny one's in the elevation graph are Butch's, not very long but you can do it bunches of times! we have a tendancy to just do lap after lap and not much stopping.

Nice I will have to try the Upper Arrowhead. I tried to really work on my turning and did a few small bump runs (I did lower Roundhouse good practice area). I did butchs a few times also but thought it was a touch icy. Anyway fun weekend and Addeson graduated to poles and I got Ryder shorter skis so we will see if there is any improvement! Can't wait until next week!!
