We finally got out to ski today! Unfortanetly the ski areas have been really thin on snowfall so we have opted out until today. last week we decided we were going to go today regardless of conditions. Luckily they got a healthy helping of snow this last week so the condtions were actually pretty good. It was a wee bit crowded because I am pretty sure all of denver was enjoying the much needed snowfall too, but we got to ski with my friend Sus and her kiddos. Reagan was thrilled to get to ski with Adde. I was excited to finally figure out my new skis, no longer skiing on 20 year old "furniture" that 10 year old kids look at and ask "what are those things". A great day out there!

    it's such a sad situation for the resorts, many are not even close to 100% open yet. The locals have been staying home, the only revenue is from the out of staters who booked their vacations last year when they had phenomenal snow conditons. Hopefully it will sart duming on all the resorts here and everywhere. We had a great time though the only bummer was the CRAZY winds!
