    Not the pace I was hoping for, but it was a great 1st 1/2 marathon! I had a blast!

  3. Taper time 2.5 mi / 00:23 09:11 pace

    2.5 miles is crazy short compared to the 10.5 I ran a few days ago. I know my body will appreciate the rest before the race in 5 days.

  4. Double digit run 10.5 mi / 01:47 10:11 pace

    Surprisingly, my run went well. My right calf starting cramping big time at about 9.5 miles in, but I finished fairly strong. I feel much more confident about the 1/2 marathon now!

      Look at you! I can't wait to hear about this weekend's race. For some people after they do their first race they vow to never do another... other people the more races they do the more addicted to them they become. Either way, a half marathon is a major accomplishment, so go out there, kick ass, and have fun!

      You can def go a lot faster... but like you said, just finish this 1/2 , then try to beat it! I hope we can do the sat run this week... it has been probably a month.

      Sounds good. It might be raining in the morning, so I guess we'll play it by ear. I don't particularly want to run in 50 and rain. My cell phone should be good by morning, so we can touch base then!

    Oi! Not a great workout. Being exhausted, dehydrated, and unenergized certainly made for a less than fabulous run. Intended to do 9 miles, but 8 will have to do for the day.

      Yeah, i can vouch for you, you had an insane week. Good job in getting those runs in. I wont be able to help with the long run next week unless u decide to do it saturday (sunday is my race). Let me know.

    Beautiful sunny day, perfect temps for a lunchtime jog. Didn't push myself as hard as I could have, but still finished strong.

      You're doing great at these distances... especially if you didn't have to push yourself until the end. You're going to rock the 1/2 marathons! I could see you getting under a 2h half marathon which would be epic for the first race!!! We need to run together soon, i miss my running buddy, I don't look forward to Sat runs as much anymore.
