I'm so glad I made the workout this morning. I had a few excuses to skip, but I've committed to swimming on Fridays, so I don't want to give in to excuses.

Here is what went down. I'm proud of the workout today.
Warm Up:
400 free swim
300 pull/paddles
200 kick
100 IM

50ms on 60 seconds with descending speed and ascending rest. Here's how it works (I'm sharing this workout because it is awesome and you should try it!).
First: You leave on the zero for the first 50m and ALL 50m laps must be finished before the 0 mark. Then for the second 50m you leave at 1 second. The third, on second 2. This means that the more lengths you do, the faster you have to swim, but the more rest you get.

I made it to lap 25 until I couldn't finish on the zero mark. . So, my fastest laps were 35 seconds. Not too bad. I was still the first guy to get dropped, but I'm really glad I showed up this morning.

So, I swam 1250 at the pace. I kept going another 250 meters, with the other swimmer who were still making their 0 time.

    The last time I did 2 mi of swimming, it was in open water, we got stung by jellyfish, and it took me the better part of 2 hours to complete... and I slept like a baby afterwards. Nice job!
