  1. RUN
Double modified bolton hill 3.55 mi 00:35 09:45 pace

A run to get back into the workout routine.

  2. walk
    Three cities

This weekend we walked all over Annapolis, DC, and Baltimore with my mom in town. She walks at a fast clip too! I have no idea how far we went, but I would guess at least 30 miles total. We walked ... read more

  3. walk
    Passport journey 5.24 mi

It only took 10 minutes for my actual passport "appointment." The more challenging part was the walk there, followed by a disappointing lack of ice cream for the walk home. I hope to have... read more

Soon there will be gourmet ice cream in Hampden at the Charmery. That will be worth a 5 mile walk for sure!

    Hot and humid class room!

  5. RUN
Druid to Montebello to Charle... 9.6 mi 01:34 09:45 pace

Long but good run. I slowed way down on that last hill into Druid to save my achy knees for dancing at the wedding tonight.

  6. RUN
Roland to Starbucks 3.59 mi 00:37 10:22 pace

    Gorgeous weather!

    Spin Class 12.6 mi 00:49 03:53 pace

It didn't feel like I was trying that hard, or maybe I'm just getting stronger. Either way, a nice way to start the workout week.

  8. RUN
Druid and Charles Village 7.82 mi 01:15 09:37 pace

After over-sleeping, I managed to jump out of bed and over to Druid to meet Carriebert D. and Marc for an 8 mile run. I misremembered the route, so we ended up being about .2 miles short. In the e... read more

    Circuit Training 01:00

Nice to do some circuit training in between all the running to tone up my back and arms.

  10. RUN
    Hampden/Druid 3.95 mi 00:45 11:23 pace

    Hot run with hot ladies!

  11. walk
Druid and back 4.62 mi 01:13 15:52 pace

A nice evening for a walk with Paul. On the walk back we ran into a gentlemen who was "as lost as a raccoon" and wanted to get to the shot tower metro station. He was walking the wrong wa... read more

Wow, he was really far from shot tower if you found him between your place and Druid. Lost as a raccoon indeed!

I don't know how often raccoons get lost, but it seemed like he kept getting pointed in the wrong direction by other strangers. He thought he was on the fallsway when we found him and was pretty sad to learn it was falls rd.

  12. RUN
    Ednor garden-Lake M-Herring Run 5.76 mi 00:54 09:25 pace

I think I mapped this right. Carriebert D. said Marc thought this route was 5.4, but we all know how his mapping skills turned out. I think this is 5.7, and we even did a tough hill at the end!

  13. walk
To the harbor and Holiday Inn... 4.55 mi

Tried to time it, but then forgot to turn my watch back on. We were both very tired at the end of this walk.

  14. RUN
Two Druid Loops and San Marti... 6.84 mi 01:08 09:57 pace

Cool weather this morning with gusts of wind that felt like we weren't even running. Coupled with some large hills, tired bodies, and fueled only by a popcorn and red wine dinner, it was a rou... read more

30 minute run around Bolton 3.32 mi 00:33 09:47 pace

I really wanted to avoid traffic this morning, so I decided to try and keep my run in Bolton Hill. I ended up doing a lot of weird loops to make 3 miles fit in the neighborhood, but at least trying... read more

Incredibly hot spin class, even with the fan blowing and the lights off.

  17. walk
Walk to the harbor 2.99 mi

Paul and I took a brisk and sweaty walk down to the harbor and back when we got home from work. I was surprised by how many runners were out in the hot muggy weather!

  18. RUN

Ran with Carrie beyond in Herring Run, but beyond Belair road (!) for a great long run on Saturday.
