      That's totally what counts. Way to go. I tell you, I got up early a lot last week and then the latest I slept in this weekend was only like 7:45 but getting up this morning was still hard. Little by little....

      This happened to me when I started running last year. Sometimes finding a warmup helps. I remember that after a little while it got better.

      Thanks, Shayla. I keep getting frustrated with the pain and quitting training after a few weeks. Perhaps the key is keeping it up and getting over the hurdle.

    Getting up early is my sworn enemy. The run was fine, but now I feel awful and have a migraine. Changing my sleep pattern is going to be a tough process, I think.

      Little by little! I'm proud of you getting out there this morning. Waking up and doing it is hard but for me, once I start getting into the habit, I actually enjoy it. Getting into habit usually takes a while though, so be patient with yourself and in the meantime...more coffee!

    Had a networking event after work, and felt gross during this whole run. Probably a result of eating wings and drinking beer at 5. Mental note - don't do that again.

    Intervals of 2 minutes running, 1 minute walking. Felt really easy, so I just kept increasing the speed during the running portions.
