    Hard to gauge how fast I should be going without hauling a 40 pound kid in his chariot behind Jake. Did a short jog afterwards though for a bit of impromptu brick training.

    Just a short run before the race on Saturday, although I did try to push my time in preparation for the tri-sprint in August. I have some speed work to do methinks....

    It was a hot one today, but my mental game has been in check all week. Less than 2 weeks til the final time I run 30 km in my entire life.....

    Felt ok I guess..... not great at my mental game today, but I lived. 3 weeks til the big day, I have no idea if I'll be ready.

    I ran through the Royal Parks in London UK, my favourite city in the world. How can it not have been absolutely brilliant!!!!

    Absolutely fantastic; ran 10 and 1s the whole time, didn't need to stop for a break. Legs are sore, but I feel on top of the world.

    First half sucked, but then I went "mental" and pushed hard for the final 30 minutes. Actually put in the best distance yet for an hour run!!!

    Was supposed to do 28k, but I feel good doing 25. I have some time yet, I'll be ok by end of June. Kinda wish I lived in a bungalow right now though....

    I wish my new Garmin watch made me run faster..... terrible tempo run today - can't even call it a tempo run rather an easy walk with some sprinkled-in jogs. Blech.
