The time/distance ratio on ellipticals varies so widely! The machine I'd been using near my apt has so much resistance I can barely get it going more than a 12 min mile. The one I used near work had me at 6+ min miles. Both of which are so off from real running. My plan is to do all cross training this week in hope that next week I'll be able to run without disturbing my Achilles. It felt fine today after being on the machine, so fingers crossed!
