I braved the cold and ran outside this morning. I had to get it in before the flakes started falling. I planned on going out later today, but I just had a feeling I needed to get out when I did.
I felt good on the run. I didn't feel overly tired or like I was "hating it" while running. After I got home and changed though and started work my knees were hating it! I wonder if it had anything to do with running on snowy ground.
The temperature was 21 with a wind chill of 12. The sun was out for most of the run and it started to get overcast toward the end of the run. I ran on the street (against traffic) the entire run. The sidewalks were just too snowy. It felt great to run outside. After my run, I thought I should have gone 6 miles instead. I have 6 miles to do this week for a long run and it's supposed to snow pretty good tonight. Either way, the 6 miles will likely be a snow covered run. Unless I go to the gym. :)
