With this run complete, I am officially in taper. My highest mileage week ever! It was cold (38 or so) when I started & the first few miles were a struggle. However, I think this 18 miler went the best of all the 18 milers I've run so far. Regardless, I've survived 4 months of training. Now just 2 weeks until race day!


Yay for taper! Rest up and don't be surprised if your body does funny things over the next 2 weeks. Random new aches and pains, feeling restless, etc. Its all a part of the dreaded taper. :)
