      You're kicking a$$ Mendie! I remember when I first started C25K, I couldn't even run the 1st 60 second interval. I was dying! You'll improve with EVERY run and your time will get better as you go. Just keep up the good work and dedication! It will totally pay off! :-)

      Thanks girls, it was tough. Yes I used some cold compresses before bed, feel better this morning then I thought they would. Still a little sharp but not as bad as last night.

      You are doing great. No shame in repeating a week. I stopped progressing on my c210k when I was happy with the run/walk intervals. You may decide this is your interval for awhile, and that's ok. I have no doubt you can easily get up to the 8/2 intervals or higher. Don't be afraid to push yourself a little. I'm convinced that most days, running is about 99.8% mental and only .2% physical.

      You're doing great. Just take each day as it comes and enjoy what you are doing. If you run, great. If you have walking breaks, that's fine too.

      That's still a really good performance. The sharp pains sound like side stitches. Make sure you are drinking enough water beforehand. That might help. Also, sometimes if my side starts to hurt, I'll run with my hands pressing on the top of my head. I look like a damn fool but it seems to make the side ache go away. Feel free to look like an idiot with me :)

    C25K W2D1 done! calves felt very heavy the whole time and feel like they are splintering now towards the sides a bit. Breathing was good didn't feel like I was gonna puke even once!
