      GREAT GREAT job!! So proud of you! That was a merciless course, especially that last half. The sun was just beating down and it was a "real feel" of close to 80! You did amazing considering the awful heat. Next October, that BQ is YOURS!!

    Felt stiff at first, but then loosened up and felt pretty good. The weather was great!!! :) Hopefully it will be like this marathon day, it isn't looking pretty though... :)

      I keep checking the weather hoping that the temps will go down for Sunday! Hopefully it will stay cool earlier so you don't have to battle the heat....but even if it is hot, I know you've got a great race (and BQ!) in you!

      When is your marathon? I would encourage you to really rest. Maybe take a few days TOTALLY off. You don't want to be worn out for the big event. During rest, your muscles can recoup and rebuild and you'll probably find that you are stronger for it.
