Paced my fifth half marathon today! We paced the 2:10 group. I didn't feel awesome today, but the event, itself, was great! The race got delayed about a half hour due to storms, so it was a chilly, wet morning, but the course was neat (hilly!) and we got to run through Miller Park, which was super cool. The wind was wicked, and carrying the pace sign got rough, as it basically just acted as wind resistance. I was struggling through most of the middle miles. Thankfully I had Rochelle with me, so we had fun, as per usual. I'm a little bummed that I felt so blah today, but the good news is my sore shin didn't hurt at ALL while running, and isn't even that bad now. So -- yay? Two weeks until Lakefront Marathon, and THANK GOD. I'm ready for some rest.
