Well, glad this was just the warm up, but it doesn't bode well for the rest of my workout today. It's warm and terribly windy outside. Could hardly blast through the wind for an "easy" paced warm up. I had no energy. Yuck. Crappy. Home now to regroup, stretch out, fuel up, then head to the gym for my pace run. I've gotta do 10 at marathon pace, and I just can't do it outside. There's no way. I hate to go to the treadmill because I truly feel like it takes away a lot of the "work" you have to do when running outdoors, but there's no other option today. Sure, it could be windy like this on race day, but if so, I'll be adjusting my goal then, too. But today I really want to be able to run at pace without the beating weather conditions. Major blah.
