Just a little shakeout before the Madison Mini tomorrow. Marty suggested this to me as his tried and true pre-race run -- I like! I ran one mile as a warm up, then a half mile hard to get the fast twitch muscles ready and going, then a half mile cool down. I think it's just what I needed to get things loosened up for tomorrow. I'm nervous! I haven't raced a half marathon in so long! My dream goal is a sub-1:50, so we'll see what happens. That's not a PR, but it'll make me happier than rainbows. Lots of foam rolling and Stick-ing tonight, and a pre-race sleepover with a couple of my bests: Rochelle and Tracey G.
