Shins were feeling better after a day of rehabbing (massaging and icing), but my legs felt pretty junky -- tight calves, dead feet. Did a 2-mile warm up followed by six 100-meter stride-outs with 100-meter jogs in between. Intended to do six 600-meter intervals after that, but made it through one and called it a day. Did some more shin icing and massaging tonight. I'd rather go into Saturday morning in one healthy piece, rather than risk making anything worse. I've also got a blister on my pinky toe that is wreaking havoc on footstrike. I feel like I'm compensating and it's driving me crazy. Basically I'm super ready for Saturday to be over so I can have a clean slate and focus on Lakefront. I'm sort of tired of stressing about a speedy 13.1.
