Wasn't feeling a step of this. Felt sluggish, heavy, feeling it in all the wrong places. Had 4 miles of recovery on the schedule, but there was no way. I was mentally out of it and physically not feeling it. About a mile in a girl sped past me in her sports bra and shorts, all perfectly toned and fast, and that's about when I gave up. Blah. Plus it's hot as f-ck outside, which is really getting old. Tomorrow's another day...


Rest up. Better to shut down the recovery runs than the quality workouts...and you've really nailed some quality of late so a bit of extra rest is a good thing when you feel you need it.
