Felt a LOT better than last night. Started with a 2-mile warm-up and took my sweet ass time. Had to wake myself up.
Then four miles of fartlek -- 3 minutes fast, 2 minutes easy. I ran the fasts somewhere below an 8:30/min pace, then slowed up quite a bit for the easy. Of course, because the gods hate me, I hit the Farwell hill in Maple Bluff on a fast, but alas.
Last three miles were a cool-down. I was pretty cashed in the last two miles, so took my sweet ass time with those, too.
YAY ME I WOKE UP. Thanks to Kelsey V. for the reminder last night that the weather would be perfect this morning. It was! This is supposed to be my redemption week for last week, so I'm on a mission to redeem myself.
