Slow slow run. Too hot to go fast and I'm working on slowing down my long runs as my training plan calls for. I decided to turn around when I ran up on a big black bear walking up the trail. He was nice and ran off into the woods. a little scary though.


Yikes!!! Glad that was uneventful! Good job holding back on the pace, too - that's something I wasn't always good about in the past myself, and I often paid for it later with injuries.
