Ran a route I have not taken in close to 3 months and it's apparent why: the second mile is one GIANT progressive hill and as you can see from my splits, that hill taxed me plenty. It was 80 degrees with 90% humidity when I started this run at 5:30AM. Insanity! It was hotter then Sunday and I can't lie, I really did not want to be out there. But, I got this in just before a series of thunderstorms hit the area and word on the street is that behind these storms is cold front that is going to cut the humidity in half.
First time running in my Newtons since coming back from my stress fracture. I was told to hold off on them for about a month and use a shoe with more stability. Golly gee williker did I miss 'em.
