I did decent considering:

.) I injured my back 2 weeks ago and it wasn't until this past Thursday that I was able to run or even thought I'd be able to run this.
.) Because of said injury I slowed my pace in an effort not to worsen the injury as it is now in recovery. So, this tacked an extra 30-45 seconds on all of my miles. Uninjured I should have finished somewhere between 1hr 45mins & 1 hr 50mins.
.) In the two weeks before this race,I should have racked up about 20-25 miles a week in anticipation of the race. But as I said, I hurt my back. So I only ran about 14 miles TOTAL during this time.
.) There were NOT enough porta-potties! I got on line to use the facilities at 6:30 and by 6:55 there were still a good 15-20 people in front of me. The race started at 7AM (or was supposed to! It actually started 11 mins late!) so I had to get off my line and get to my assigned 'corral.' I basically ran this entire race with a semi-full bladder ;( Talk about having to go at the most inconvenient times...
.) I stopped to tie my shoe and because it was 30 degrees and my gloves were velcro, it took more then 30 seconds to tie the damn thing!
