Easy, slow AM trot (still IT Band rehabbin!) Can't say enough about the weather! 57 w/ an awesome breeze - felt like that sweet period b/t spring and summer when it's not hot but it's also not cold - it just be right! Right after mile 3, I made my typical "Wawa" stop which was right on queue.

Only sucky part of this run was that right after mile 4 when Blanche (my Garmin 310xt) died. It was odd - it said it was low on battery buuuuuut, it still had 3 bars. I've had it for 3-4 years, recently dropped it (cracking the display), and it's been acting pretty flaky lately which pretty much confirms my suspicions that this thing is definitely on it's last legs. It's a shame, but I have been eying a 910 for 4 months now....so I may have to upgrade sooner rather then later. After my watch I kept running and ran another 2+ miles (I mapped it when I got home.) Just an awesome morning for a run, even if Blanche was being a hussy.

    It was a good morning for a run. If you really like the 310 and don't want to drop the $ for the 910 (which basically just gets you swim metrics), you can call Garmin, send back your broken 310, and have an option to buy a refurbed model for like $100 I think....you might get it for free because the screen cracking issue is well known for the 310 and tons of people complained to garmin about it

    thanks for the heads up! i just submitted a request to see how much it would cost to repair. like i said, i've had it for a long time (almost 4 yrs) so it's really held up through a lot and if i needed to upgrade at this point, i'd not too disappointed. i just hate having to spend money i didn't budget out ;)
