great Asheville City Half Marathon 13.2 mi 02:55 13:17 pace

I am incredibly proud of this race. The time is not great on typical standards, but this course is brutally hilly (mountains, anyone?). And awesome. I walked up hills when my heart rate felt high. And I flew on the downhills. I completely ran this as what it was: a training run that ended with a medal. I feel like I ran it adequately hard. And I honestly had a blast.
