The adrenaline of the race will help calm down your Achilles, but Achilles issues can be scary things. You could probably still push it hard at the race, but the aftermath might not be pretty. Maybe run at 80%-90% of what you were planning to do, and then adjust as needed depending how you're feeling during the race.
