I haven't been running for about 3 weeks thanks to snowmageddon followed by an unsettling pain in my left foot, near my Achilles tendon. I've begun physical therapy and it appears that the pain is caused by muscle irritation from misalignment. (I can thank my 20 lb baby girl for helping to bring this about, as I cart her on my left side up and down stairs, walking at weird angles.)

I finally got the green light to do a 3 mile run, which went well. As for the half marathon in 2.5 weeks? I still plan to be there, but I may just be walking a good chunk of it.
