  1. RUN
    good Abingdon 3.05 mi 00:32 10:29 pace

Chilly one today - bit of light snow, but nice conditions for a run really. Much quicker than last week's 11.30 pace, which is pretty cool, also makes me feel justified at feeling more knacker... read more

  2. RUN
    good 2.69 mi 00:31 11:20 pace

Despite having drunk a lot over the weekend at a wedding (and danced the night away) this felt good :) The full english breakfast had me fully loaded with energy too!

  3. RUN
    tired 2.46 mi 00:31 12:32 pace

I could hardly get out of bed this morning, but I had promised myself I would get out for a run today. Needless to say it was pretty hard work, and I felt like I hardly had any energy to give. I we... read more

      Nice Job:

Well done for going out for a run. 1 mile at a time. Each time I go out, I tell myself I'm only going for 10 minutes... then 20 minutes, and when I actually get going, it's quite enjoyable. The hardest step is the first one out the door. :)

  4. RUN
    alright 1.8 mi 00:24 13:25 pace

Back to square one now. Having had an injured ankle, followed by a broken toe and a killer cold, it is somehow now February. But I did go out today at least. 3 minutes run, 2 minutes walk.

  5. Grrr, kicked my suitcase the other day so now I have a purple toe that won't permit me to run! D'oh! Hopefully won't take too long to recover so I can get out and get going again!

  6. RUN
    good 2.05 mi 00:26 12:26 pace

So so so pleased to finally get out there again :) I sliced my ankle open 4 months ago today, and it still causes me bother, but I decided it was time to take it out for a spin. So far so good, it&... read more

  7. Bummed out :( I cut my ankle 2 weeks ago by dropping a knife on it (ouchy!) so I've been in stitches since, and just got them out today - but now I have to wait another week in steri-strips co... read more

  8. swim
    great 1200 m 01:00 80:28 pace

Nice relaxing swim, pretty slow, but very enjoyable which was great

  9. RUN
    blah 2.46 mi 00:33 13:16 pace

My left ankle wasn't happy, sort of went a bit at around 2 miles, then again right near the end...Decided to go for a swim on saturday instead of pushing it on the road

  10. RUN
    alright 3 mi 00:34 11:12 pace

Treadmill run cos way too hot outside! Was really hard work for this one

  11. RUN
alright Radley & the pan handle 3 mi 00:35 11:47 pace

V v hot! But good to get in a run over 3 miles. Was purposefully not pushing too hard cos the weather was putting a bit of added strain on. Glad its done :)

Nice run and great pace! Better to take it easy in the heat. It's been brutal out!

  12. RUN
    alright 2.38 mi 00:28 11:37 pace

Just feeling so tired - really wish running came more easily to me than this, somehow when I was training for the marathon it never felt this hard...

:-( You're too hard on yourself Hannah! Look, running always has peaks and troughs so just concentrate on going for consistency at this stage. So if you reckon you can only do 2miles every time, then just go with that for the next 3 months or something! Don't worry too much about time or effort or even distance. Just learn to get out there and feel comfortable. It will come. Don't force it, just go with it!

  13. RUN
    good 2.58 mi 00:28 11:00 pace

A few niggles - my shoulder starts to ache sometimes after a few miles, so probably need to remember to keep it loose at the start. Might need to do a few stretches etc to make sure its not tighten... read more

  14. RUN
    good 3.75 mi 00:56 14:54 pace

Brisk walk - wanted to get a bit of distance with less intensity. Still feels pretty humid out tho, not great...

  15. RUN
    alright 2.63 mi 00:29 11:00 pace

Irritating stitch for about the last mile - no fun :( But gradually cranking up the distance. Waited til it was nice and cool out, but was a slug and snail assault course after the rain!

  16. RUN
    good 2.47 mi 00:28 11:17 pace

Not really managing to keep the sort of pace I'd like - but was nice and breezy today so not as hot as the rest of the week. Edging up the distance gradually.

  17. RUN
    alright 1.52 mi 00:17 11:19 pace

Body still feeling a bit will get easier one of these days!

  18. RUN
    alright 2.12 mi 00:23 10:43 pace

Bit too hot for running at the mo!!! makes me feel even more exhausted as I go round - but at least it might make me drop the pounds quicker!

  19. RUN
    alright 2.15 mi 00:24 11:10 pace

Feeling very unfit (not really surprising after such a long time off...) but going to start off slow and build back up, 16 weeks til half marathon

You'll get there Hannah! It will come faster than you think!
