Legs still seem to feel a little tired from the other day, but not a bad run. Sneaky wind on the way back too! Have some nasty blisters on one foot - any ideas on how to prevent blisters??

Great run! Hope the legs feel better!

nice run. Where are the blisters? Often you can get these from ill-fitted shoes.

Try different socks, I use Balega, (the ones with the padding on the bottom), the material of the sock can make a big difference. Wright socks are great too, they are two ply, to prevent blisters. Running stores have both. Also, lube up your problem areas with lots of Vaseline! Don't rub it, just gob it on. Works way better than Bodyglide.

Hmm curious about the blisters, but the run sounds great!! I would've guessed shoes too, but I like the sock suggestion

Kelly, I've been dealing with the same problem. It happened to me on my last few long runs before Philly 1/2 last year, and I had to make a stop in the medical tent during the race. After it healed, I had no problems until recently, as I've started increasing my mileage again.. You've been doing longer runs too lately. I've tried the double ply socks that Kristy mentioned. They seem to help, but didn't completely stop my not completely healed blister. Last week I tried the socks and also put some KT

Tape that I use for knee pain over my blister area. My Group Class teacher suggested it. Both together seemed to help. Good luck!
