injured Body Pump

Rode the bike to warm up ~ 5 miles, then did my first Body Pump class in months, went down to do squats and my knee just went into pain again! Was able to finish the rest of class after I stood there looking silly in pain. My running is better, but guess I still have to ease into exercise movements. How long does it take for this nonsense to heal and go away! I wanted to cry in frustration.
