Even though I am not really sore from Body Pump yesterday, my legs felt a bit tired and heavy, so I took it easy and stopped at 3 miles. Tomorrow will be a rest day with much needed yoga, then Saturday is my first Adventure Race at UCF. I can't wait!

That adventure race sounds fun. Hope you have a great time. Good job listening to your body on that.

Thanks, Mike! I can't wait. I'll have a full race report, hopefully with photos, on my blog Saturday night.

One thing I'm pretty good at is not overtraining and listening to my body. I am overly cautious, and some people say I don't push myself enough, but I want to be a runner for life and rather be overly cautious and continue running than overzealous and be on the sideline due to an injury for weeks or months.

Those are my feeling exactly. Would much rather be slow to improve than face chronic injury. My husband has chronic back issues; we can't have two in the family, lol!
