I ran .6 miles to the Y (a nice warm up, and better/quicker than walking in the cold/dark), did the Body Pump Class, then ran back home. This was my first time trying this class, so I took it easy on the weights while I get used to the exercises. It was challenging, but doable, and I can probably handle more weight next time. I did most of the squats and lunges at the end with just body weight. I mainly want to strengthen my upper body and not tire my legs too much. I may focus on lower body more after the marathon, but for now bodyweight will do. I'll definitely be back. I'll try to do this once a week for now and build up to 2-3 times a week later.


I'm too lazy to find your original comment that asked me if I was going to Track Shack tomorrow. Alas, I am not. Dinner plans with a friend. :-) Let me know if anything cool happens!
