My legs felt heavy when I started the ride home, and I figured I'd be lucky to average 11 mph, but it didn't take long for the legs to loosen up and I picked up the pace. I pushed a bit the whole time, consistently averaging 13-14+ mph, but I didn't feel like I was killing myself. I'm thrilled with this pace riding the explorer bike with tight calves after a long day at work.
