Day 3 of Crazy 8 Series done with marathon/ultra #11. 26.2 miles in 6:27 @ 4:45 pace. It wasn't my slowest (I beat my Disney time by about 12 minutes lol), I wasn't DFL, and I managed to negative split the 2 halfs (3:16 & 3:11). I walked the first 1.5 miles to ensure I started slow and warmed up, then used 1/1 intervals for most of the race during the flat/downhills and power hiked all uphills/inclines. Even though it took ~50 minutes more than yesterday, I actually felt better during this race and ran a pretty even effort. This is marathon #2 in 2 days, which qualifies me for level 4 of Marathon Maniacs. With Sunday's 5K, this is 55.5 miles in 3 days. The goal is 100 in 8 days.
