Today began week 2 of the swim 1 mile program:
200 yds - 12 breaths rest
4 x 100 yds - 10 breaths rest
4 x 50 yds - 6 breaths rest
4 x 25 yds - 4 breaths rest
Total = 900
I did an extra 200 warm up and 100 cool down. My time for the 100 yds laps ranged from 2:25 - 3:02.


way to go. I need to get back into swimmer this week sometime if I am going to do any tri's

I thought you weren't going to be able to do any this season. That's great your recovering finally and will be able to start training again. You still have plenty of time, especially if you target one at the end of the season around September. Do you have one in mind, or just going to see how training progresses?

I thought so also but it seems like I may be able to do some mini races, attempt another 1/2 marathon and problem attempt a tri or dua which will be near end of the season which probably will work. I have slowly gotten back into walk/run/walk routine but back does hurt afterwards at times but ice and advil does wonders.

I'm glad to hear you are recovery well. I think the last of the Clermont tris is in Sept with 1/4 mile swim, 10 mile bike, and 5K run so maybe you can be ready for that one. Good luck!
