great 1st post marathon non-stop run 3 mi 00:36 11:54 pace

First non-stop run since the marathon. My left calf felt a little tight from the start, but otherwise this was a nice run and it loosened up towards the end. I felt a little sluggish, so I kept it slow because I didn't want to push it too much -- better save that for the race on Saturday.

I initially planned to go to kickboxing at the YMCA --- it's been 3 weeks since I've been there and pretty much wasted this month's fee --- but didn't want to waste this gorgeous day. I wanted to take advantage now since the forecast calls for rain the rest of the week, so this is one less run I'd have to do on the treadmill.

It's funny that all I want to do is run and lack motivation for other types of exercise. You'd think it'd be the opposite after running a marathon.
