This is my first long run since the marathon, and it went great. The legs felt good overall, just a little tired at the end. I got up early to run 6 miles at 6 am with my Galloway group because I knew I needed the extra push mentally to get through it in the cold. We ran using 1:1 at an easy pace and then I ran an extra .66 miles on the track because I'm using this run for the "Global Warming, My Ass! 6.66 Mile Run" Virtual Race

I'm impressed girl - you don't stop! I didn't run for at least a week after my marathon, and even then it was just a couple of miles. WTG!!!

LOL @ Chelsi. But notice my slow pace ;) I think all the walking earlier in the week and yoga really helped speed up recovery. Rest assured I'm listening to my body, taking it easy, and not doing too much too fast. My training program actually says to do 6 miles today. I think it's the fact that I do a run/walk on all my runs that helps me bounce back so quickly.
