This was the longest, slowest, most painful walk of my life, but gotta help the muscles recover. The walking is not so bad, but I curse hills and steps of any size.


Going downhills and stairs is actually much worse for me the day after long runs, and I'm still not sure why.
Good work keeping yourself moving.

Yeah, they suck! I think is because of the muscles it uses *shrug* I notice even the tiniest incline that I wouldn't even blink at otherwise. I can't wait to get back to running, so I'm trying to keep moving to speed up recovery.

I know that feeling..I was surprised by how much pain I was in the day after..you'll be back to running soon..just take your time.

Oh, I totally remember that - getting up and down from a sitting position was so painful and any elevation change made me curse. The soreness will be so much better over the next couple of days!

It's already feeling better, but yeah walking isn't as bad as bending, getting up, or going up/down the slightest incline.
