great Day 61: Austin 1/2 Marathon Training 13.1 mi 02:13 10:09 pace

Today was the F^3 Lake Half Marathon, and I ran it with @suegelber. We discovered that we run the same pace and that we're both doing the Austin Half Marathon!

I really don't know what I'd have done without her, today. The last two miles were painful. We were running into the wind, and we -- well I guess I can only speak for myself -- I was dying. I would have stopped to walk if it wasn't for Sue. So thanks, Sue! Even if we were both relying on the other one to not stop, it worked for me! Looking forward to running Austin and I'll make sure to look for you!

It was fun to see the other #RunNerds along the route as well: Jenn, Cate, Alek, Pedro and Crysta. Thanks to you all to motivate me to be a better runner.

Up until the last two miles I felt pretty strong, so I'm looking forward to Austin. Today's half marathon, although it was unofficial and totally a rogue race, was my first. It's the farthest I've ever run in one sitting. Wow. I feel great. Even if my feet and legs are a little sore now :)
