    Had a blast running. My knee hurt a ton, but the weather was goreous and I was having so much fun, I had to keep going.

  4. 2nd day of PT! Feels good to work hard! Although, switching PTs because this one treats me like a geriatric and my friends hubby promises to kick my butt. Can't wait until Tuesday!

  7. my workouts consist of CPM machine lately. But, that is going to get me back ont he rode and into the pool before I know it. Can't wait for those days!

    Rode with my sister! Had a great time! Knee has been bothering me and the kids have had swim, but I got out there today. Knee felt o.k. once it warmed up. Hurts like heck now though!

    Planned to run again today! Too hot and knee hurt too much! Over 90 degrees by the time my hubby got home! Knee hurt while riding today too!

      I had knee surgery - ACL replacement with my hamstring -- back in 2005. Originally it was tough to get back into it and my recovery was slow, but I kept at it and got back into running despite my ortho doc warnings. I went on to run my fastest marathon at a 3:05:57 (Boston 07) - This is probably amazing, but still just listen to your body - take the bike when the knee hurts and do what you can to continue to strengthen it. Move Freely and glucosamine is the latest supplement that I have heard may help.

      I have an old ACL tear, torn meniscus and a pothole of cartilage missing on the lateral femoral condyle. I have gone to three ortho and had three different opinions. However, the one resounding thing they all said was that I would need a knee replacement in the future. Since I am a big skier I don't want to risk that so the ortho that I am sticking with suggestions ACL reconstruction with the hamstring tendon and OATS. He says that is my best chance at avoiding a knee replacement. But, he says to sto
