VELO
great atnthe gym 14 mi 00:50 16.8mph pace
felt good doing it, low resistance (6) and pushed a little more cardio. Feeling a twinge on the leg, icing and praying two workouts do not set me back. Was feeling good, now I am frustrated. =(

Get Better:
Kim I understand how you feel, as I am still with my hamstring hurting after a set back from running. I am just doing the bike and trying to go slowly, at least it is something. I am hoping that slow and steady will win the race in the long run.

Not allowed to do that yet, just the bike. I was riding on a low level, 6... but I was playing games and maybe it was too much. Like riding to one song at 80 rpm's and then boosting it to 90, back to 80 and then a song at 100. Just making it a little challenging. I just want to get back into running and classes... just get back. OK, done wining for now,

I have asked before if you all have issues and some do and some don't. I did notice after coming back from my injury the pads of my toes were hurting so I think I am toe gripping when I run? How do you correct that? If you all have any other suggestions and ideas as to why this always happens to me I would love to hear them. And, if you have toenail issues please feel free to share so I know I am not alone.

Today I might walk and I am gong to try to lotion up the toe to test it out. I do think I want the toe compression socks as it might help the toe issue and my shin and calves at the same time. Expensive but it sounds like people swear by them. So Mark, no toe issues for you? =)

Thanks and yes it felt so good. :). I am hoping it was the change in sneakers and support that caused the injury. I am back to more supportive shoes so we will see how it goes. Praying that was all it was.

If anyone can shed more light on this I would love to hear your thoughts. I have the report but only understand a few things on it. I am glad it is not a fracture, I believe if I kept up doing what I was doing it could have developed into one so glad we caught this now and hope I can correct it. Maybe it was my last pair of shoes? Hope the new ones with more support work well.
